her. In her blog she sometimes talks about the ‘importance’ of blogs from
women and why there seem to be so few of them. We will hear about

Anne Roth, Berlin, ist Bloggerin, Netz- und Medienaktivistin. 2001
gründete sie mit vielen anderen Indymedia Deutschland als erste
interaktive unabhängige Medienplattform. Nachdem im Sommer 2007 ihr
Freund Andrej Holm mit dem Vorwurf festgenommen wurde, Terrorist zu
sein, startete sie ihr Blog ‘annalist’ mit Innenansichten einer
Anti-Terror-Ermittlung.
Anne Roth schreibt über Innere Sicherheit, Netzpolitik, Überwachung,
Medien, aber auch über Geschlechterverhältnisse in der deutschen
Blogosphäre und deren Selbstverständnis.
Anne Roth lives in Berlin. She is a media activist, journalist,
translator and mother of two. Since July ’07 she’s mostly known as the
partner of Andrej Holm who was arrested at 7 in the morning in their
apartment for being terrorist. Since October of that year she writes a
web log about the inside view of an anti-terror investigation and
increasingly about the War on Terror in general.
