Would you like to give a workshop?
We encourage people from different backgrounds to share their knowledge and skills with us. For a small honorary we invite you tell us for example more about the way you make interactive animals, social engaged mobile applications, program your micro controller, build wearable technology, think about pervasive media, human-computer interface design or ubiquitous computing. Here are the guide lines to giving a workshop at Miss Baltazar’s Laboratory:
1. Become a mailinglist member by adding your mail address here:
http://lists.metalab.at/mailman/listinfo/mbl
2. Tell the community about your workshop idea via our mailing list so people can discuss when and how the workshop can take place.
3. Send us a short description of your workshop (2-10 sentences).
4. Prepare a 2 hours program. It can consist of hands-on tinkering, discussion, theory input, research or building something together. Please bear in mind that Miss Baltazar’s Lab has a focus on tech related issues and prefers to make things rather than exclusively talk about them. After the workshop we usually stick around and talk about the questions raised by/in/through the workshop, so please plan to be around from 6.30 pm until 10pm.
5. Let us know if you would like someone to take over the role of a moderator during your workshop and if you need electronic parts or other material for your workshop.
